The artwork goes live!

My new project has been born! It's never really seriously occurred to me to have a website for my artwork; my Facebook page has been doing reasonably well, but I keep an eye on what other people say on there (especially other artists and craftspeople) and a few comments about how hard Facebook has been making it to get updates out to a wider audience has made me think I need a back-up plan.
This is that back up plan! I'll still be keeping my Facebook page, Artwork by Kate Hurst - I firmly believe that any contact with the public is worth it - but hopefully this site and that page will help each other out.
For the time being, please enjoy the website. Today is just the start . . .
